You can engage “Tow-Ed Qld” to provide a session for your group, club or members at a request. We can also provide organised workshops and seminars to suit your groups requirements and needs.
A purpose designed workshops / seminar sessions are provided to offer further skills and information pertaining to operating our combinations as safe as we can.
Workshops can include, understanding all weight referenced acronyms, correct pairing and set up of the combination, looking at the combination’s performance on the road, electric brake usage and set up, behavior during maneuvering, applying low risk driving techniques, inspecting the combination including adjusting tyre pressures correctly and much more.
VANSafe comprising off experienced people from four different aspects of the industry who provide presentations with Caravaning Queensland (CTIAQ) known as the “Weights and Towing Master Class” at all industry shows under the CTIAQ banner. The four industry experts provide information covering, driver education and technics, weight terminology, auto-electric / towing equipment and Legislation.
Since the inception of VANSafe, the VANSafe team have travel Queensland with events including weighing and workshops. 2026 introduced the first “ROAD READY RALLY” which was held in Townsville during April 2026 with around 55 combinations in attendance. VANSafe uses data collected to push for better road safety concepts and training.
Tow-Ed Queensland has been presenter and moderator with VANSafe since it was formed. Prior to VANSafe, Tow-Ed Qld assisted at all of the weigh day events a run under the CTIAQ banner.
